At VirSec we use both digital and analogue transcription equipment - although in today's fast-paced digital business world we find that digital transcription is much more cost and time effective than analogue.
By using digital transcription systems clients are able to upload their voice-files directly to our secure website, or may send them via secure email. Once received we transcribe the files into the required format and email the document back to the client, or upload it to the website. We certainly do not use a separate charging structure for this service - by charging our hourly rate our clients know exactly where they stand and, we believe, get a better deal than being charged on a "per number of words" basis. VirSec secretaries work at an absolute minimum of 70wpm *.
